A striking brass rise-and-fall dining / billiard light with original style braided cords, decorative counterweight and full pulley mechanism.

The rectangular frame is fitted with a full-length silk-style fringe shade which gives a lovely warm, diffused light when illuminated. A substantial and well-made piece with strong late Victorian / Edwardian influence, ideal over a dining table, kitchen island or billiard table.

The rise-and-fall mechanism works smoothly, allowing the height to be adjusted easily. Rewired and in excellent condition throughout, with the fringe complete and presenting very well.
