A lovely pair of original Victorian stained glass windows salvaged from the former Woodend Free Church in West Lothian.
Each window consists of four original stained glass sections, featuring colourful decorative borders, hand-painted floral details and pointed Gothic arches.
The glass was originally saved from the church prior to its demolition by a local gentleman who had been christened there as a child. It was carefully stored for many years before we recently acquired the collection.
We have pieced together the original sections to form two matching Gothic windows, believed to be close to their original arrangement.
Both windows are housed in newly made, simple wooden display frames and retain age-related wear and some damage consistent with their history.
Approximate size of each framed window:
Height: 1950mm
Width: 610mm
Price: £1,195 each or £2,245 for the pair.
Available individually, although we would prefer to sell them together.
