The elegant oval glazing and clean, understated design are characteristic of the Edwardian period, allowing plenty of natural light into an entrance hall while maintaining a good degree of privacy. The door also retains its brass letterplate, adding further period character.
There is one cracked pane of glass within the glazed section, as shown in the photographs. The remaining glazing is original and in good condition.
