Original Victorian cast iron and tiled fireplace insert retaining its original decorative cast detailing and embossed canopy. A particularly elegant and understated example with subtle floral ornamentation and clean architectural lines.

Presented in unrestored original condition with age-related wear, surface marking and minor imperfections consistent with age and use. A good honest example retaining its original character and patina.

The ceramic tiles appear to have been historically overpainted in black, with areas of the original green glaze visible beneath, offering interesting restoration potential if desired.

Well suited to period properties, townhouse restorations, traditional interiors or decorative installation projects.
