Antique Upholstered Armchairs – Victorian / Edwardian Style
A handsome matching pair of antique armchairs, dating from the late Victorian to early Edwardian period. Each chair features a curved tub-shaped back with sweeping integrated arms, supported by an elegantly carved hardwood frame, likely mahogany or walnut.
The chairs retain their decorative pierced splats beneath the arms, scroll-ended arm supports, and shapely cabriole-style front legs, all indicative of quality craftsmanship. They are upholstered in a light cream floral damask fabric, giving a classic and refined appearance suitable for a traditional interior.
