Antique Converted Oil Lamp with Cut Crystal Font & Alabaster Column – 69cm Tall (Copy)

£275.00

Elegant antique converted oil lamp featuring a beautifully cut crystal glass reservoir with brass mounts and a classical alabaster / onyx style column base.

Originally an oil lamp, this piece has been later electrified while retaining much of its original character and period charm. The cut glass font displays attractive diamond and hobnail cutting which catches the light beautifully, complemented by aged brass detailing and a substantial stepped square base.

A refined decorative table lamp with strong late Victorian / Edwardian influence and a lovely traditional presence.

Approximate dimensions:

Height: 69cm

Base: 17cm square

Condition: Good antique condition overall with age-related wear and patina consistent with age and use. Later electrical fitting and wiring. The brass has a mellow aged tone and the cut glass reservoir presents particularly well.
