Georgian Tilt-Top Tripod Table – c.1800–1840 k092

A charming antique Georgian tilt-top tripod table, dating from the early 19th century.

Raised on an elegant three-legged base with pad feet and a turned central column featuring carved spiral detailing. The circular plank top retains a wonderful aged patina with historic marks, shrinkage and repairs consistent with its age and use.

The original tilt mechanism is still present, allowing the top to be stored upright when not in use.

A versatile size ideal as a lamp table, occasional table, wine table or side table.

Reclaimed from Blacket Place, Edinburgh.
