An impressive original Victorian anti-climb wall security spike strip removed from a property on Newhaven Road, Edinburgh.
A wonderfully atmospheric architectural salvage piece with a strong industrial and gothic character. Featuring alternating forged spear-point uprights and curved hook-form spikes mounted to a substantial flat iron bar.
Likely originally installed atop a boundary wall or yard enclosure during the late 19th century.
