K002 - Antique Dr. Nelson’s Improved Ceramic Inhaler – Victorian Medical Curio
An original Dr. Nelson’s Improved Inhaler, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. Made in glazed white ceramic with printed black instructions on the front, this inhaler was used as a Victorian household remedy for colds, coughs, asthma, and other respiratory conditions.
The inhaler is designed with a spout for the mouthpiece and a wide neck sealed with a cork stopper. The printed label gives clear directions for use: fill with boiling water, apply the lips to the spout, and breathe in the medicated steam.
