£45.00

An original Dr. Nelson’s Improved Inhaler, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. Made in glazed white ceramic with printed black instructions on the front, this inhaler was used as a Victorian household remedy for colds, coughs, asthma, and other respiratory conditions.

The inhaler is designed with a spout for the mouthpiece and a wide neck sealed with a cork stopper. The printed label gives clear directions for use: fill with boiling water, apply the lips to the spout, and breathe in the medicated steam.

  • Period: Victorian / Edwardian (c.1880–1920)

  • Material: Glazed ceramic with cork stopper

  • Details: Printed black transfer instructions on front, classic bulbous form

  • Condition: Some age-related crazing and minor surface marks, but complete and well-preserved

These inhalers are now highly collectible as antique medical curiosities and decorative pieces with historical interest.
